I know it's a bit sad to look forward to a day of just laundry and cleaning.  Yeah, I get that; however, to me, today, it's quite the contrary.  Today is quiet, and 'just' laundry and cleaning day.  In fact, I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face.  It's been such a crazy week—semi-crazy weeks have preceeded this one and the crazy ones to follow—all leading up to Summer!  So, I'm just going to fully enjoy today...laundry and all.

I wrote up a huge entry sometime ago...I can't even remember when—I think it was earlier this week...Monday, perhaps?  Anyway.  Typepad froze on me, and I lost the entire thing.  :(  It's terrible!!  It was so much blabber, anyway, I guess.  From AI (yay, David Cook!), Grey's (satisfying season finale!), DWTS (pretty cool!), my new bind-it-all (LOVE this thing...I can't believe I waited so long!)...and a whole list of whatevers that I can't even recall.  On top of that...

Check out this collection Art for Asher at DDE. which includes my two new fonts, MA Smiles, and MA Googly Bear, as free fonts with the purchase of the Art For Asher Colletion. Pretty cool, huh?!?! I'm crossing my fingers, and my toes, that this will do well. For me, I just want to be able to help Steph and her family in even the smallest way. I'm so sad for them, but I know that isn't enough. Calling All Angels...

...still needing...

Watching the news, in a far away land...I feel helpless. It's seems surreal, how could it be...yet, it is. Do what you can do, help in any way you can. Every little bit counts. If we all come together, as little as we may feel, we make a huge difference, together.

Here is a layout I did, {sort of} how I felt about what I see on tv. It's feelings translated into design, I suppose. Alone, lonely, calling for help, held up by hope.



This is such a beautiful kit. A collaborated effort, Gina Cabrera and Shabby Princess, with 100% proceeds goes to the Red Cross to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina. You can also check Shabby Princess' blog to see how much have been raised through the sales of the Compassion Kit.
